I was legally prescribed tramadol 50 mg 3x/day for a painful soft-tissue injury to my hip. I'd only taken it a few times prior to today. I did notice a slight improvement in my mood at the 50-mg dose.

Today it was hurting especially badly but I wanted to do my usual yoga session. So I took 100 mg. After about an hour I felt (and still feel) really good. Relaxed, floating, and certainly painless. I've put on some trance music (Oceanlab) and am doing my yoga and am just basking in the long-lived sensation. There is a very slight edginess and dizziness, but they aren't intrusive.

Wish this was how we felt all the time; there'd be no war.
