Background: Over the past two years I have tried nearly every drug except for heroin, meth, or inhalants. MDMA is my favorite yet I've only had the occasion to use it twice, so naturally when I came across Methylone (bk-MDMA) I was thrilled. I've used methylone regularly (1-2 times a week) for the past 4 months, and built up somewhat of a tolerance. I have found that while just as with MDMA, a longer period of abstinence results in a better roll, I can still take methylone often with relatively consistent effects each time.

Nightly Regiment: Remeron/Mirtazapine (an a-typical anti-depressant) 30mg nightly, a multivitamin, B12, and fish oil. I always post-load stimulant use with Vitamin C, a B-Complex Vitamin, Alpha-Lipoic Acid, Quercetin, Acetyl-Cartinine, and Melatonin to minimize oxidative stress.

Anyhow, onto my report. This is probably my 50th time using methylone, and I wasn't expecting much going in. The time was 6:00 and I had just gotten home from work, wanting to unwind. I weighed out and gelcapped 200mg of methylone, which for me is a small dose, and took it with a glass of orange juice. First alerts felt within 5 minutes (familiar numbness of hands and lips), but no euphoria until 30-40 minutes in (if I take a higher dose, I feel it in 15 minutes).

At 7:00, an hour in, I decided to take one 50mg pill of trazodone. Since I always come down from methylone about two hours in (which for me, consists of an uncomfortably rapid heartbeat and insomnia lasting 6-8 hours), I wanted to go ahead and take the trazodone for sleep in advance so it can build up in my system.

At 7:30 - 90 minutes into the methylone and 30 minutes into the trazodone - I feel the sedation of the trazodone balancing out the speediness of the methylone, which is just perfect. But then, I started to feel a sudden burst of newfound euphoria! It basically felt like I had reached a new peak. It felt like I had taken 2 or 3 times the dose of methylone than I actually had! Then I remembered, trazodone actually does have anti-depressant qualities.

**Warning!** It is possible the combination I tried could cause serotonin syndrome. While this is typically a concern associated with SSRIs, which trazodone is not, this is still a risk to bear in mind. Methylone is a research chemical and should be taken with caution on its own and particularly in combination with anything else. Please be safe!

Being so satisfied with my newfound high, and expecting to need more sedation in order to sleep later, I took another 50mg of trazodone at 7:45. At 8:00, when the methylone would have normally tapered off and switched me into come-down mode, the euphoria was still there albeit less strong. Unfortunately, trazodone didn't do much to mitigate the side effects of the come-down like the rapid heartbeat, but it did bring out that little bit of euphoria that remained and allowed me to enjoy its effect a little longer than usual. Normally I take a benzo when I start to come down from methylone because I find they synergize very nicely, but I've been trying to avoid that lately to avoid benzo dependence.

I should also mention that I have taken methylone dozens of times both before and after beginning my regimen of Remeron (mirtazapine), so I can confirm that the additive euphoria I experienced was due to the Trazodone and not the Remeron. I have experienced no differences in effects, nor side effects, positive or negative, in connection with combining Remeron with methylone or anything else for that matter.
