This morning I purchased a Fentanyl 25mgc/h patch from a friend. I have been experiencing substantial discomfort from having a tooth surgically extracted, and what out of pain meds. It being a Sunday, and having gone to a public health center for the dental work, attempting a refill was impossible. So, I took what I could get.

I initially placed the patch on the back of my neck and waited 12 hours, with no effect whatsoever. No buzz, no pain relief, just a warm sensation at the application site.

About ten minutes ago I decided that I was not getting my money's worth from this thing, and attempted to smoke it.

I cut a small slit in the backing of the patch, and squeezed a drop out slightly smaller then a pea. No...half the size of a pea. I got this drop onto a piece of tin foil, gripped the foil in hemostats, and lit a fire underneath.

The smoke is light and very difficult to see. I inhaled as long as I could, and when I felt I was running out of room to inhale I moved the heat away, but continued inhaling until it stopped crackling. I held the hit for a while, then exhaled. I felt the effects immediately. A warmth spread through my chest, and a tingling crept across my scalp. Each hit increased these effects substantially. After two blobs of this size, I taped the slit shut securely for storage. Apparently these gel patches can dry out very quickly.

The high seems quick acting but not long lasting. As I am typing this I think it is already slipping away, but I think that is the highest part of the hig. I get the feeling that the pain relief and the warm, slightly tight feeling in my chest will last a while longer.

I cannot stress enough that someone with a low tolerance to opiates should proceed very carefully when attempting to smoke fentanyl. It is a powerful narcotic, and should be respected as such.
