I am a year or so in my experiences with DXM. One day it dawned on me to up my dose from the 710 mg as done on many occasions to 860 mg. A general rising of dose until the out of body occurred. Little to my knowledge, I was going to find my sweet spot right away.

It had began with a movie, as usual. This time it was The Running Man. I had gotten about 30-45 min into it, when things started to happen. Now mind you I didn't expect what was coming. First, it seemed if the wall behind my bed was gone. I could very intensely hear the outside noises of night bugs and crickets. It was at this point I realized, things were going to be very interesting. After about 5-10 min after that, it had started. I was completely out of body. Many rooms were available for me to go related to my own spirituality. I didn't really choose one to go in. I merely explored the inner workings of my head and what options I had.

After what seemed to be maybe and hour of adventurous exploration, I returned to reality to find out I had only been gone 30 sec. It was amazing how bad I lost track of all time. After that point it was just the general coming down for the next 6-8 hours.

I have also tried a 930 mg dose after this, but I only remember bits and pieces of what happened. At times I thought I was in different rooms of the house and I was starting to forget who I was. That dose was just a waste and an overkill. One has to find one's 'sweet spot' or one wont have a good experience.
