I believe that Butalbital is very powerful and somewhat underrated substance. Me and a circle of friends enjoy using them recreationally to a very large extent. This particular report is not my first time dancingKeep in mind the particular pills I took contained 325mg of Acetaminophen. So BE careful! the amount I took is a little excessive but not deadly. BUT EVERYONE'S BODY IS DIFFERENT. Remember to always start small, don't push your limits.

Without further ado here is my report.

About 45 minuets after a medium breakfast, I consumed 4 pills. This was in a fairly large setting in public, which I do not advocate. (Especially for first time users). After about 15 minuets I began to feel the familiar effects, sedation, but on a different level then most downers. It was a speedy downer if that makes any sense. I attribute this to the caffeine contained in the pill. I had consumed about 160mg of caffeine which is about the amount of 1 and a half cups of good coffee.

I have no doubt that if it wasn't for the caffeine content of these particular pills that the dose I ended up taking I would have put me to sleep and left me pretty close to respiratory depression, which is one of the only main dangers of this drug.

After the initial effects kicked in, I waited about 25 to 30 minuets, then chewed (YUCK) two more Fioricets. This brought my Butalbital level to 300mg. This is when It really kicked in. Walking was hard, I had tunnel vision yet everything seemed brighter. I was so tranquil and at peace, I even had a very short bursts of euphoria that seemed to be pulsating through me. As I wrote before I was heavily sedated, yet somewhat speedy. Like I just took a speed-ball. (Very dangerous.) Walking was very hard. Everything was slowed down when it came to motor movements. If you have ever done Benzodiazepines then you know the feeling.

I have heard many people compare the effects of this drug to alcohol without the mental effects. I disagree. I actually like it a tad bit more. Its more like Opiates, without the itchiness and intense euphoria - full body orgasm.

After about ten more minuets all social inhibitions vanished. I was very prone to say whatever I was thinking. Libido was through the roof, I would have screwed 500 pound transvestite at this point.

This effects peaked about another 10 minuets later. This lasted 30 to 40 minuets until I began to come down. The coming down effects are mostly sedation, uncoordinated movements, and steady euphoria. I must also mention that music sounded really good. The music coming out of my MP3 Player sounded like a heavenly quartet.

At this time in order to keep this tranquil buzz going, I popped one more Fioricet.

The after effects (which I still count as effects) lasted for nearly 2 more hours. This was much longer than I'm used to. I attribute this to the fact that this was the first time that I have done more then 5 pills.

In closing I would like to say that I think this is a terrific drug. Maybe me and my buddies just are sensitive to Butalbital.
