BODY WEIGHT: | 165 lb |
* one ounce liquid extract of an exceptionally potent T. bridgesii (4 oz of this is a daylong thing unto itself)
* 25mg 2c-e
followed one hour later by:
*25mg 4aco-dmt
*5mg additional 2c-e
I had nothing to eat for 3 hours prior to starting, and there was no body load or any physical discomfort throughout the evening.
From experience I have learned that the effects of the RC's on me last about 4-6 hours. Because this journey commenced at 10PM, and I was planning on going to work the next day, the cactus extract was limited to 1 ounce....2 ounces would have been great, but would likely have extended the journey by another 2 hours.
It just seemed natural that 2c-e and cactus would be a perfect match for each other...the full spectrum of alkaloids in this particular bridgesii strain invariably allows me to simultaneously experience what seems to be multiple times, spaces and lives. This would, conceptually, match up well with 2c-e's deep, introspective space. The experiment in doing this combo was to see how well a single ounce of the cactus extract would work, or whether it would work at all. Well, it did not disappoint at all.
I knew that the relatively slow phenethylaminic come-up would take 1-2 hours, so at T+1 I followed up with the tryptamine. I also knew through both research and experience that the 2c-e and 4aco-dmt are a very comfortable combination, but had never done this with more than a total of 40mg. And sure enough, the 4aco was timed just as the phens were activating, and a smooth, steady 30 minutes-to-peak launch ensued. The peak itself lasted a good 60-90 minutes before a smooth decline to base by 3AM.
2c-e is reported to instill a kind of 'clearheadedness' into many trips, and that is exactly what happened here. At no time did I ever lose the ability to have an intelligent conversation or, say, solve an equation.... not that I wanted to. But the cactus added to it for the first time in my experience a beautiful, expanded space/time feeling that gave the 2c-e a lot more than usual to work with. The real boost to the journey, though, was the 4aco-dmt. Both the phens are a bit 'dry' in terms of color and psychedelia - not that there's anything wrong with that - but here 4aco-dmt lived up to its reputation and transformed the vision into an infinitely luscious palette of liquid colors that don't exist in my 9-5 world. On top of that, it lent the impression that I was clearly 'outside looking in' on the objects in my field of vision.
So the phen side had much deeper than usual CEV's, and the tryp side had much deeper than usual OEV's. This is quite a bit more than either would do by itself at the dosages I'm used to. By themselves, those things would have made for a great 'eye candy' journey of 5 hours. But I entered the experience in a very meditative state of mind, and wanted to spend a good part of that time delving deep into the core of my being. This combo permitted that...in other words, I had a very manageable choice between enjoying a incredibly trippy evening, or spending as much time as I wanted exploring my consciousness. It was most rewarding...and today there are no aftereffects, I am full of energy, and I've brought with me into today a great inner stillness and awareness.
