DOSE:
50 mg oral Pharms - Tramadol
BODY WEIGHT: 10 st
I discovered Tramadol by chance online a few years ago and decided to order some from an internet pharmacy. Having dabbled with a few harmless recreational drugs in the past, I was interested to try opiates and had read that Tramadol provided a similar high to Codeine, but with less of an addiction risk. It was, and still is, surprisingly easy to order Tramadol online, without a prescription compared to Codeine and other opiates.

Tramadol is available in many forms but more commonly as tablets, capsules, sub-lingual melts and effervescent tablets. It was the effervescent tablets that I first tried. They were manufactured by a Spanish pharmaceutical and were supplied in little tubes. Dropping one into a glass of water, it fizzed and hissed away until it was completely dissolved. I cautiously sipped at the water expecting it to taste bitter, but was surprised to find it tasted exactly like lemonade and gulped it down.

Within 20 minutes of finishing the glass, I began to feel a warm euphoria. It started in the center of the body and seemed to spread out to the extremities, so that my arms, legs and fingers became tingly and warm. At the same time I felt a happiness and energised feeling. I was feeling very alive, talkative and 'wired', but not like a caffeine buzz. A much more relaxed and inwardly content feeling.

Prior to my using Tramadol, I had been feeling really run down and lethargic most days with low mood, aches and pains. I wasn't sleeping too good and was probably depressed. Tramadol took care of it instantly. I would take one of my magic lemonade drinks in the morning and have a perfect sublime day. I would see beauty in everything and not be bothered by anything. Having suffered with social phobia and anxiety most of my adult life, Tramadol also seemed to give me a release or push to socialise more. I found myself doing things I wouldn't dream of doing normally and actually enjoying it. In short, this seemed to be the perfect drug for me. The euphoria and positive effects would last around 12 hours from a single 50mg tablet, so a single dose would last me all day and evening. Being mindful that I was taking an opiate type drug, I tried not to use it every day for fear of tolerance and dependence. Initially I limited myself to twice a week, then progressed to taking it every other day. Nevertheless I didn't develop any tolerance or withdrawal when I stopped taking for a few days. I had one of the best summers ever on Tramadol.

As summer gave way to autumn, my supply of the Tramadol ran out and to my horror, I discovered that the pharmacy I ordered it from had stopped supplying it. I looked around for another supplier of the effervescent tablets but they are rarer than hens teeth and virtually impossible to get hold of without a prescription. In the weeks and months that followed, I tried ordering Tramadol from half a dozen different pharmacies as pills, capsules, melts. None of them gave me the same benefits as the effervescent tablets did.

I found quite a variance in the effects from different Tramadol.
I found quite a variance in the effects from different Tramadol.
Mostly the unpleasant effects were more prominent, with an edgy speedy adrenalin and low euphoria or none at all. I also found the pills and tablets quite hard on the liver, even at 50mg uncomfortable sensations and mild liver pain began to be experienced. Insomnia became a real problem too. My sleeping habits became really messed up.

In short, although other forms of Tramadol provided a 'pick me up' and energy boost, they all seemed to lack the euphoria opiate high of the effervescent tablets. To this day I don't know whether that was due to the effervescent tablets having a more prominent and rapid opiate effect, or whether I had developed tolerance. My gut feeling is that the effervescent tablets are in a completely different class to other forms of Tramadol.

I continued using other forms of Tramadol over the next 2-3 years, less frequently, for a mood and energy lift, but gradually my love affair with Tramadol came to an end.
