Morning Glory Nightmare

My new friend S and I decided to do morning glory seeds in anticipation of having a fun trip. He was not experienced in doing drugs. I have had some, but was not an expert in anything specific. Neither of us had ever tried morning glory so we read up about them online, to learn of how to administer them. One method was to soak them in water for a number of hours and then drink the mixture. I vaguely recall he used the same dosage for each of us, which was around eight seeds apiece. The thing we both didn't consider is that the dosage should be adjusted for gender, but more importantly, body weight. I am 5'2' with a medium build, and he is 5'11' and probably weighs 180. We were both excited at first.

I arrived at his house around noon. After a short visit we decided to start drink the concoctions, which he had prepared ahead of time. I think we both drank all of the liquid. Within a few hours, we were both getting very high, and it was fun. It was sort of akin to being on ecstasy, with the main characteristic of the high being very open emotionally. We chatted and laughed, sat on the couch, and were mellow for a while. We watched a movie too. It was nice.

By around 5:00, however, things started turning very serious when we both realized we were getting higher and higher , with no end in sight. It was not a fun high anymore, either. It felt heavy and dark. It seemed as if our heads would explode because there seemed no way out of this. We became very scared. I thought we would end up in the hospital. I think I was worse than he was, to an extent, because of the higher proportion of the drug that I consumed, but we were both in a bad way. I laid down on the bed for some relief, but none came. At some point, he came up with the idea that we needed to start drinking lots of water in order to force our bodies to vomit the drug out of our systems. I agreed we needed to do that.

Pretty soon we were both vomiting and urinating a lot too. It was horrible but I was willing to do almost anything to get out of this trip. I was in the bathroom for a long time. Then, it got worse when I suddenly developed severe menstrual-like cramping like I have never experienced before, and I was not on my period at the time. The pain was horrific, I think similar to what it must feel like to be in labor (but I do not have children). These pains lasted for at least an hour or more. I can't recall how long because I was on the toilet the whole time, MOANING out loud for what seemed like an eternity. S came in periodically to check on me and push me to continue drinking water, but there wasn't a lot more he could do. I also had some diarrhea by then, and I was vomiting; it was coming out of me everywhere.

By the time I felt well enough to leave the bathroom, it was very late - I think approaching midnight or later. I was still too high to drive home, so I slept at S's house and left the next morning. We were both exhausted but at least the drug had subsided by that time.

This experience was three years ago as I am writing this, but I will never forget it. We are lucky we didn't end up in the emergency room. Those things are scary. We both took far too much - possibly double a 'normal' dose. I would be very hesitant to try them again, but if I did, it would have to be a much smaller dose, and I would carefully monitor how much I took.
