My friend recently found out that I have unmedicated anxiety and I was looking for something that would allow me to relax when I am at home. I live with my parents and smoking weed to sleep is definitely a lot more difficult to do. So my friend tossed me a few yellow Mylan capsules. I looked them up on the internet and found out they were 30mg temazepam caplets.

I am well aware of the dangers of benzos and their addiction potential, especially with someone like me who has a history of addictions that cycle... one addiction leads to another leads to another kind of situations. Pharmaceuticals I treat with utmost caution and make sure to read up as much as I can -- so I can know what dose to take to get the desired effects that I would get if I had been prescribed the medication. I am doing my very best to save these for extreme emergencies where I am very stressed out before bed for its fast acting chemical.

Dose1
I took one dose of temazepam after a hard night of partying. I was coming off of cocaine and marijuana. I felt as if I was on a plateau and wanted that extra kick to get to sleep.

1:00AM - took one dose of 30mg Temazepam capsule (Mylan brand)
1:10 (ish? it felt like it)AM - out like a light

After waking up, I felt refreshed (not like the groggy 'ughhh' feeling one gets after waking up from taking NyquilPM or AdvilPM). This was ideal because I was not looking for a high, just a way to sleep.

Dose2
I took dose two maybe four or five days after dose 1. Once again, one 30mg capsule. I fell asleep within 10 minutes.

Dose 3
Took my last Temazepam I had from my friend. Same dose, fell asleep within 10 minutes.

Dose 4
I decided (in retrospect, not that smart) to up my dose. I read on various websites that doubling your dosage would be a very trippy experience. My friend also warned me to never ever drive on this dose. However, I would not recommend driving on any dose. So anyway here is my report.

12:00AM - took one 30mg capsule of Temazepam
T+1:00 - not feeling any effect (maybe I was just thinking too hard and not relaxing) I pop one more 30mg capsule of Temazepam
T+1:30 - Half an hour after ingestion of the second capsule, I start feeling warm, relaxed and a bit woozy. The walk to the bathroom seemed like longer than it was and I had a hard time walking straight.
T+2:00 - I am definitely feeling very very floaty and relaxed. I have DirectTV and I set it to the 'zen' and 'new age' music channels to have some calm soothing acoustic trip hop being the only sound filling my room.
T+2:30 - I definitely feel myself falling asleep.

Dose5
Having had 60mg of Temazepam (which is a lot for someone in my weight class) I decide to kick it up a notch and take 3.

11:00PM - took two 30mg Temazepam capsules (60mg total)
T+100 - Feeling woozy again.
T+2:00 - I take the third pill
T+2:10 or so - I pass the effffffffff out.

Dose 6
This is the dose that I am writing about real-time. I am running low on Temazepam and I don't feel right having so many of my friend's pills since he does use them as is prescribed. I decide to conserve and take only one, having read that tolerance may or may not escalate but it really depends on the person. I also read on a forum that grapefruit juice may potentiate some benzos (except for klonopin) so I decided to give that a try too.

8:45PM - Took one 30mg Temazepam capsule
T+1:00 - feeling SLIGHTLY woozy. Definitely very relaxed. I go downstairs to grab a half glass of grapefruit juice.
T:1:15 - I stumble slightly up the stairs. I don't think much of it.
T+1:30 - I decide I need more juice. I definitely wobbled down the stairs and pouring juice was a little difficult. It's hard to tell whether or not it is the temazepam or the grapefruit juice which is turning me into the human noodle when it comes to easy household tasks.
T+2:00 - sipping on juice, getting ready for bed as I need to get up in the morning.

As a final assessment, I feel that Temazepam does not have any short term tolerance differences in me. Usually I have a very high tolerance that develops very quickly (especially Ketamine), however it doesn't seem like it's the case with this.
