This last July my boyfriend and I, plus another couple, went to a musical festival in West Virginia. We had just driven around 9 hours, and we were setting up camp and getting ready to see my favorite band. We were talking about doing some 2c-b that B, the other guy on the trip, had brought from California. At the same festival the previous year we had taken some 2c-b orally, ohhh I'd say it was around 10 mg. It was a very light dose, and the effects weren't very crazy. Not really any visuals, as far as swirling trees, or trasers or anything. The body feeling was the most noticeable thing. This time, however, we were snorting it. We didn't have scales, but B knew the total amount he had, and felt that he could eye-ball it, even though the amount of powder you actually need to ingest is so small.

So, after we had 'weighed' everyone's line out, we all started to man-up. I was the third to go, after the two guys. I did the line, and it didn't burn at first. I was surprised because I had read that 2c-b contains a salt that burns like hellfire in your nose. 'Just wait,' B said. Sure enough, a few seconds later I was on fire, but it was somewhat tolerable. I decided at that point that I wanted to go use the bathroom before it kicked in, and did just that, but on the way back I was feeling an intense rush. I also felt very suddenly that I was going to vomit. From that point on, I felt very nervous. I knew it was going to be a wild ride, and was afraid we had taken too much.

I was starting to notice the tarp tied to the easy-up was breathing like it was alive, and the contrast of the shadows was becoming more and more 3-D looking, if that makes sense. I went outside of the easy-up because I was feeling very uncomfortable, both mentally and physically. I didn't want to talk to anyone, and felt like I couldn't even really take in what they were saying to me. The drip in my throat was horrible, and I think that's what led me to puke for a second, and even a third time. At that point, I was focusing intently on remaining positive. The drug made me feel very cold, so I was running in place to warm up. When I finally sat down for a minute, I looked up and the clouds that were around the moon, and the glinted like chrome, and they were changing from what looking like hundreds of dragons flying to cats sitting with their tails in the air. I couldn't believe how intense both the visuals and the come-up body buzz was. After about 1 hour of this craziness, in which I was really having to tell myself to keep it together, I felt ready to walk down to see the show. The intenseness by this point had subsided reasonably, and the walk through the trees and past all the people was extremely enjoyable. I felt a lot of love towards my boyfriend, and we were chatting about the things we were seeing and laughing hysterically.

The whole rest of the experience was a very happy one, but after around 2 - 2.5 hours, pretty much all of the visual effects had worn off, and I just felt 'enlightened,' if you will. The effects had pretty much worn completely off after about 4 or 5 hours.

I did not enjoy the come-up at all, but I was nervous about it to begin with, and was excited to be at a festival. I also wasn't expecting such a strong reaction. After I plateaued, though, it felt like a very happy LSD trip, only a shorter one, which I like that night because I wanted to get some sleep. Oh, and I forgot to mention that, even though I threw up during the come-up, I had an appetite for the rest of the night, and ate some pizza that was absolutely delicious. I like that, because on acid, I can't eat anything, and my hunger brings me down a bit. I would definitely do it again, and next time, I'll be more prepared!
