I am a family man looking for a little thrill. I quit pot many years ago, as smoking it does not make for a very good role model. Last year and earlier this year, I brought some different Amanita Muscaria on-line of the A to AAA grade produced in Washington, Arizona, and other places. I tried grinding it to make teas and sometimes just chewing it up well.

I found that to get an effect, a dose of about 10 grams was needed and that I would generally vomit about an hour after consuming it. The effect was a nice small out-of-body experience. I could see that going beyond 10 grams might put me in an out-of-control state which I felt that maybe in time I might be able to handle. It produced interesting dreams and very restful sleep.

During this time frame but not coordinated to the Amanita Muscaria mini trips, I started getting an occasional brain throb. A pain from inside the skull slightly to the back and right of the very top of the head. Never had a pain from inside the skull, very scary. I had also started using a lot of a new Stevia based sweetener and thought it must be causing this. A few months went by with no Stevia or Amanita Muscaria and the throbs went away; my wife and I were relieved I would not need a CAT scan or something.

Then I tried 7 grams of Amanita Muscaria one time and two days later a throb came back. At that point I was pretty sure the Amanita Muscaria was causing this. I threw all I had left away and have had no more brain pains since.
