To start off, I would not say I am opiate naive by any means. I have taken Hydrocodone and Oxycodone many different times, but only on occasion. So in this particular experience my tolerance level was little to nothing.

The Suboxone (Buprenorphine and Naloxone) was in the form of a sublingual strip and was given to me by a friend. I read up on the substance first and seeing as it is used to prevent opiate abuse, I went into this not expecting much.

0:00 I dissolved the strip while studying for a quiz I had online later that night (I have done similar things on Oxycodone without any negative effects). I did not swallow for approximately 10 minutes while it dissolved. The taste was sweet.

0:30 I had not felt anything yet, and began to think that my friend was retarded. I had expected something absorbed in this manner would be much quicker to affect me.
I had expected something absorbed in this manner would be much quicker to affect me.

1:00 I experienced a slight dizziness similar to the starting effects of many opiates I was used to. I went outside and smoked a cigarette, which strengthened this dizziness very slightly.

2:00 After a slow build up I was left very dizzy and a bit disoriented, similar to high doses of Oxycodone. I felt very lazy and didn't want to move much. Despite my laziness I was feeling very social and wanted to do something.

2:30 I left for my friends apartment (walking of course).

4:00 It was about 9:30 PM at the time, I had just finished a game of dominoes and found it very hard to focus my eyes or even keep them open, especially when staring at small objects (dominoes, phone, etc). I was nodding very hard when not being active. I left to go take my quiz online back at my place. My walking was very lazy and disoriented to the point where I was most likely noticeably high.

4:30 I had already started my quiz but was still feeling overwhelmingly social so I was on and off the phone, texting, and chatting on Facebook at the same time. On the phone my talking was extremely relaxed and slow. When texting, chatting, or reading/taking the quiz I was struggling to stay awake. The nod was very strong and hard to fight.

6:00 I managed to finish the quiz without falling asleep. At this point I was nodding incredibly hard, slapping myself in the face at points just to stay awake. Ever since returning to my place I had been eating sparingly. After every bite of food I would experience nausea for a moment, but it was not too difficult to fight off. During the quiz, which I did not do very well on, I was slightly hallucinating. Most likely because I was halfway asleep the entire time. I would see things out of the corner of my eye or see faint colors/designs on the paper I was using if I lost focus on it.

6:30 - 7:00 I went back outside for another cigarette. I almost fell asleep while smoking it multiple times, and smoking made me extremely light headed. When I stood up I was almost unable to walk straight, but this gradually got better. When I returned to my room I felt very nauseated and walk quickly to the bathroom to be safe. After this went away, I tried to piss which proved to be very difficult for some reason. After this my legs started violently shaking which scared me a bit, but the second I got into bed to sleep they quit. I felt decent while going to sleep and fell asleep rather quickly.

13:00 I woke up after only 6 hours of sleep feeling a bit drowsy and still VERY slightly feeling the effects. I felt extremely well rested which is very abnormal for me, especially after 6 hours.

Conclusion

This was definitely a lot more than I expected. The nod was extremely strong, although I may have been tired too. Walking and moving around took some effort, as did staying awake. There was a bit of nausea involved near the end, but I never threw up. The high lacked much of the euphoria caused by Oxycodone and Hydrocodone, but was still a bit euphoric and very entertaining. Overall this was a pretty good experience and I slept amazingly to top it off. I would absolutely not drive on this or put myself in a situation where I need to act sober. Do this in a safe place, not that anyone would want to move if they felt like I did anyways. I guess the only reason I experienced this, rather than disappointment or a slight buzz, is because I am not a regular user of opiates.
