DOSE:
40 mg oral Pharms - Lurasidone (daily)
10 drops oral Salvia sclarea (extract)
couple shots oral Alcohol - Hard (liquid)
BODY WEIGHT: 250 lb
Clary Sage oil: 10 – 12 drops in bourbon whiskey and ginger ale. (3 drops into shot of bourbon post-experience)

Lurasidone: prescription anti-psychotic (40mg, daily)

Alcohol: Bourbon Whiskey (2fl oz mixed with ginger ale), (2oz shot post-experience)

Tobacco: 4 cigarettes (2 before experience, 2 during)

Ginger Ale: 8 fl oz. Small sips throughout to settle stomach.

6:40 p.m.

About one hour post my first experiment with this new substance, “Clary Sage”, in which I dropped two drops of the oil onto a cigarette and smoked it – produced a relaxed feeling, but it left a taste similar to that of soap in my mouth. Unpleasant to say the least, but perhaps more tenacious psychonauts could try to go further than I.

I prepared a “Whiskey Ginger”, using 8 fluid ounces of ginger ale and two fluid ounces of bourbon whiskey (I believe 2 fl oz is equivalent to a “shot”). I dropped three to four drops of the oil into the mixture and was unsurprised when the oil suspended itself onto a viscous film on top of the beverage. I swirled it around, and added six or seven more drops – feeling I had left most of the oil now suspended on the sides of the bottle I had prepared the drink in.

Upon the first drink of the mixture, I was greeted with the now familiar taste and smell of the Clary Sage, but within minutes I began to feel tipsy. Ten minutes after the first sip, I felt the warmth from the whiskey now being accentuated by a second layer of drunkenness.
Ten minutes after the first sip, I felt the warmth from the whiskey now being accentuated by a second layer of drunkenness.
However, the layer apart from the bourbon felt more clear-handed, and profoundly more relaxed. I took a second sip, timing my consumption of the sip so that it was equivalent to the first. I feel tipsy, bordering on drunk after two sips – but extremely relaxed. It feels as if my worries melted away, and they won't be coming back for quite some time. I can function, for now, I intend to drink more.

As I write that last sentence, I feel as if I'm floating – on a boat out in gently rolling ocean.

6:55 p.m.

After browsing around my favorite websites to relax, I found myself fighting off one of those perma-grins that comes with a strong drink or a massive bong rip. When coming back to write on this report, it slipped away easily but has left a pleasant little smirk in it's place. I am contemplating whether or not to take another drink or two.

I take another drink, after swirling the drink around to get the little bits of oil all mixed up. The taste it kinda annoying, as it still reminds me of soap. Fortunately I had plenty of powerfully flavored foods to cover the taste.

The effects of this sip are not as pronounced as the first two, I also added more bourbon to the mix after taking the third sip – hoping the alcohol would break down the oils and distribute them through the drink instead of keeping them on top. Its worked to some degree, the little blobs of oil have broken their surface tension and no there's a thin film over the drink. Which might mean that it could be advisable to layer the drink as “mixer – oil – alcohol” as opposed to “mixer – alcohol – oil”.

One more sip, gentle fire in my belly from the bourbon. Feeling very relaxed. Going out for a smoke.

7:34 p.m.

Went for a smoke, noticed a lot of colors and the play of light and shadow across the grass. Have a little case of gut rot, thus I'm back here, sitting down. I burped once, bringing back that soap taste. Nothing a little ginger ale can't fix.

8:00 p.m.

Took a few more sips while I gamed, it certainly works as a relaxant as my rage levels were considerably lower than when sober

. I suddenly feel a warm flush over my body, my blood vessels dilated I suppose, letting warmer blood fresh from the core of my body back to my extremities and upper levels of skin. Very pleasant. I feel mentally drunk, a little harder to focus, but it's a kind of drunkenness where the mind is drunker than the body. I feel extremely relaxed, warm, and about 95% stress free.

Clary Sage is certainly worth a rainy day.

Post Script: Effects had worn off mostly by ten p.m. - had taken a clary sage + bourbon shot fifteen minutes later. Effects returned mildly, about 50%. Had extremely vivid dreams that night that I can recall with great clarity. Perhaps the clary sage is to blame?
