The story begins with a day trip to South Carolina in search of Salvia divinorum. On arriving to the first headshop I could locate, the owner had recently run out but he did encourage me to take a free sample of what he was trying to begin to sell in his store. He gave me a small bag containing a capsule about 3/4s full of what he called 'synthetic acid'. I had never heard of what he was talking about but as soon as I returned back to my college campus after my salvia-searching day trip was over I used the internet to determine that the look of the substance was close enough to 2C-E to be determined so. What I didn't take into account was the dose that he gave me. I can now say that the dose was varying in the 'Heavy' range from probably 40+ or so mgs.
I was foolish to not manage the pill dosage as I was too excited to see the effects the internet had told me about combined that the guy who gave it to me, did so for free. This made me feel that he gave me a reasonable dosage for what he called a 'sample'.
I took to capsule to find effects within about an hour or so. The first thing I really felt was extreme nausea. My tripping buddy too felt this nausea and proceeded to vomit up the remains of the drug. I managed not to vomit but that was the first inclination I had that told me I was about to feel very regretful for taking that pill.
After an hour or so of laying around and taking a shower I watched a game of Starfox on the N64. The stimuli almost brought me to the point of vomiting as the echoing of lasers and the colors of the tv were being projected around the room. I decided to take a shower as the perspiration caused by ingestion made me feel even sicker. I took a shower and was immediately displaced for reality. The wall of the shower were melting and nothing stood still. It was as if everything in my field of vision was moving constantly with intense psychedelic patterns everywhere. This gave me even more paranoia about what I took.
After the shower I went outside to try to smoke a cigarette but the first drag made me more nauseated than ever as if I was going to vomit right then. I proceeded to take a walk with my tripping buddy around campus to find that just like the shower, everything would not stop moving. My buddy had vomited so she was probably not feeling as intense of effect since I had kept it all down. I wanted to return to my room quickly as there was too much stimuli outside for my nauseous self. The last thing I remember from that night is walking into my room around 4:00 or so. Form what I'm told by my roommates is that I had been active and social up until I had fallen asleep around 7 or 8 pm. Then I had the worst dream of my life.
The dream started out with me in my buddy in the exact same positions that I remember last. That is the only thing that was not completely stressful or terrifying. Highlights from my dream include a really long sequence of me and my buddy caught in a shifting cycle where our faces were being spun together as she was saying 'Man we are such...'. She never finished the sentence but I tried to many times because I was convinced that completing the sentence would break the almost never ending cycle of patterns I was seeing. This apparently caused me to say things out loud like 'SPUNION!' from my sleep multiple times.
The next part was even more terrifying as the patterns turned into an almost timeline in which I became informed that this drug would kill me as I took way to much of it. This frightened me beyond belief as it was a droning timeline dream with many repetitions of my inadvertent death.
The next thing I remember is a medical team bursting into my room, which was the setting of the entire dream and running for me. They were muted as they approached me and were blurred into another pattern of repeating colors. They repeated over and over again as a voice said 'you are about to under go a procedure.'
After the patterns stopped, I remember seeing complete darkness until I took a breathe and the to room illuminated with a flash of medical technicians who were apparently working on my heart to stop the drug from killing me. This happened over and over again until I looked at my hand and saw extreme amounts of blood and what appeared to be cockroaches crawling from my skin. With every breathe the blood increase until I saw my tripping buddy out of the corner of my eye say to me 'It's okay, we're all dead.' I looked around and I saw all of my friends with dead faces and medical tags.
At this point in the dream procedure my breathes grew more faint and the blood increase until I looked up and saw a counter in the sky descending on me and when it hit zero the words 'YOU ARE DEAD' sprayed across my vision and I felt a deep puncture in my forehead after which I saw horrendously spiraling patterns and I felt my life force leave my body.
I woke up at around 2:00 AM to find my roommates and my tripping buddy still in my room. I got on the couch and was completely convinced that the surgery from the dream had indeed gone on and I had not known about for fear I would become to panicky to complete it. Me, now fully awake, was delusional that the trip was over since I had gone to sleep, the usual indicator for a trip's end. I had been extremely mistaken as I was coercing my friends to tell me about the surgery and the program they were using because I could feel it on the back of my neck, like a giant claw with a technician breathing on the back of my neck to clear away the drug from my surviving heart. Part of this surgery included the use of a computer program that made an interactive room where I could see pattern of a computer program on the floor and colors that made an almost computer like theme of my room walls. the program also made use of friends images secretly thrown into the room from previously recorded segments. The program also gave me a invisible back massager and an invisible speaker only I could see. Not only did this program initiate in my room but it followed me everywhere since I woke up, making me feel as if it was so real and no one else believed the things I was telling them about it because they could not see or hear it. The effects of this 'program' lasted until I went to bed again and woke up to find my room completely devoid of any of the program's effects.
After an intensive computer search I could not find any trace of the 'program' and have yet to find anything that would confirm my thought of a 'program' actually existing.
I was later informed by my roommates that I was saying very violent things in my sleep and panicking fiercely. I was fed a Xanax by one of my roommates but I don't think this decreased my dreams but just my ability to wake up from them. I was also told I had vomited in my sleep a time or two but I think it was the stress from the dream and the inability to wake up taking effect on my body.
The thing I remember most is the psychosis of the dream and the delusion of a 'program' that lasted a total of 15 hours before I got more sleep and woke up to nothing. I am also in the process of trying to recall the hours before I fell asleep which lasted from about 4 to 8 pm but t no avail so far. Wish me luck because these last few days required a lot of building my sanity back.
