Well, this time I tried out an Alzheimer's drug; memantine. It's a NMDA antagonist, which is like ketamine; but whether if it has any recreational value, you'll decide.

Drugs beforehand: Bupropion 450mg. Xtended release

10:30 - Swallowed 5x10 mg pills with redbull. Rode back to home.

11:30 - Checked if I feel anything. A small feeling here, a small feeling there; like deja-vu or such strange feelings, nothing much enjoyable.

12:30 - An increase in energy, it was nearly 24 hours since I woke up, so thats a nice welcome. I skipped my Bupropion dosage in 7:00, so was expecting to sleep. A single hallucination appeared - a blue dot. That would be the last one I 'll see.

13:30 - 3 hours is given as peak effect time, I have somewhat increased energy, a bit weirded out feeling, a bit wobbly walking which might very well be insomnia, an occasional euphoric rush for a few secs which feels nice and warm.

Over the course of these 3 hours, I have had feelings of hot and cold in my extremities, hot chills and cold chills just like heroine - morphine, weirded out feelings, skipping or forgetting a word or two in conversation, expecting a clear memory but instead a little bit of increase and some mental clogging-fogging.

Seeing 50mg did nothing special to me, I proceeded to take 10x10mg this time, at 15:00, after I am sure that there would be no peaks. Thats a precaution that most new pschonaut must take especially if he/she's alone.

15:00 - 10x10mg pills swallowed, 100mg. With long (60-100h) half life of memantine, that would make a 150 mg dose cumulative.

16:00 - Increase in dizziness, wobbly feelings and a strange drunken feeling where you don't have nausea, headache but the loss of balance is there alright.

16:30 - 'High'. I started to feel 'High' at 15:30 but thats the definite point. Not a good, but then; not a bad high. I know I'm high because I feel it. Hints of euphoria has left, a steady state of 'high'. Let me explain it: I feel like I'm drunken, my balance is lost a bit, I feel drowsy, dizzy yet I can think clearly if I want, a strange 'out-of-this-world' feeling is with me sometimes, I think I'm facing a side, and then when I look at me closely, I'm not facing to that side at all, I know it's hard to explain but thats a feeling, somewhat like the weirdness of deja-vu x 10.

17:00 - Can't wait for the expected peak at 18:00. I am too sleepy because I was awake for a good 24 hours now. Gone to sleep.

23:00 - Woke up, effect continues. 'high' is there with dizziness, drowsiness and clearence-of-mind-at-will is there also. A little less pronounced than the state I was in before going to sleep.
Ate some chicken noodles.

00:00 - Writing this. I have difficulties walking and pressing the letters, but my writing gets more and more fluent as I write. Drank 1g of ascorbic acid (Vit. C) to clean the memantine from my system. I can function with a litlle difficulty in the society now, I shouldn't drive or cycle though, and It seems to go on for at least 24-48 hours.

Next time I'll try out another 150mg dose at the same time.

Note: It's expensive and if you ask me if it's worth the money, no. I would've bought a ton of alcohol for that money and be happy for a long time.
