The first time I took MDMA was a night I will never ever forget. I had a lot going on and had been arguing with my on again off again boyfriend. We got together and decided we needed an escape from reality. All of his friends are into drugs so we had easy access to them. He used to be a pothead, but he got bored of it long ago so we wanted something more exciting. MDMA it was.

At 10:00pm we called his friend and had him drop 8 tablets by the house. At 10:30 we ended up taking 2 pills. Apparently they're supposed to hit you after about 40 minutes. It only hit him. But not to the full extent. After about 2 hours at 12:30 I still had felt nothing. I was very disappointed and took another 2 pills. So did he.

He was really upset that I wasn't feeling good like him so we decided I would smoke some weed too. This was about 1:30 in the morning. I took a couple of hoots, and suddenly the M had hit me. There was no questions asked. It was as if I needed the marijuana to spark it. So in the end it took 3 hours before anything hit me. It was the most surreal feeling I have ever experienced. It was as though I had fallen asleep and woken up. My mind was only half there, and I knew this. I constantly felt like my eyes were closed but apparently they never were.

MDMA isn't supposed to cause hallucinations but that definitely wasn't the case for me. The first thing I saw was jungle. Enveloping the entire room. I saw palm tree leafs surrounding my boyfriend's head and plants everywhere. After about ten minutes, this turned to clouds, and sunshine. It was an amazing escape. I talked about everything. None of which makes sense when I think of it now. But there was one pattern that repeated itself constantly. I would look at my boyfriend on my left, realize how insanely high I am. Then I'd look straight ahead and see things all over the walls. Then finally I would look to my right and recollect myself and my thoughts. Trying to gain some control. I'd open my eyes and I'd be looking at my boyfriend again. This happened over and over and over. Although once again, apparently my eyes were never closed.

We were up all night long constantly talking. I continued seeing things the entire night, however less severe. Which I'm thankful for because it was a little too intense since all the pills hit me at once. In the morning I had all my self control back, and for the most part, every thing was normal. I did feel a little strange, knew I was still a little high, beyond exhausted, and my pupils were still huge.

I remained this way until 6pm that day. So the pills that took 3 hours to hit me, gave me a high for about 17 hours. Well worth the wait but a very abnormal amount of time for M.
