A Helpful Chemical If You Are Careful
Methiopropamine

DOSE:
    Methiopropamine (powder / crystals)
BODY WEIGHT: 160 lb
Some physical attributes first: I am an average sized man, 11.5 stone (160 lbs) and about 5' 9'' or 5' 10'' tall, not skinny and not built.

In terms of previous drugs use, I am relatively experienced: Cannabis (mainly hash) for a few years, though now I use it rarely, 'street amphetamine', Ecstasy + MDMA, Cocaine and Heroin (for a short period), LSD, mushrooms and some other minor drugs such as Mephedrone.

I found Methiopropamine (MPA) to be similar to regular street 'speed' (except less intruding) or Ritalin (though I've only used Ritalin once). In small doses, I can see it being used as an effective study aid. In small doses (eyeballed) I found it helpful in helping me concentrate totally on assignments and allowing me to read books quickly and thoroughly. Thoughts flowed freely and clearly and concentration on the project was kept for a good 4 or 5 hours.

However, there is a downside.

While at first I found this compound a useful study aid, it seemed to lose its effectiveness after a few uses. I went from being a study/work demon to a procrastination expert.

It would seem that there is a tendency to increase doses and chase a feeling of euphoria or well-being that is not often there. MPA also caused a desire to drink vast amounts of alcohol, as I've found many stimulants do. This can lead to an undesirable hangover once the MPA itself wears off. It can become very morerish which may result in 2/3 day long binges with little sleep. Also totally nullifies any desire to eat, so while I imagine it could be used as a weight loss tool, it may have an negative effect on nutritional health on a long-term user who is not careful enough to keep his body fueled with food.

I've also tried MPA in conjunction with Etizolam (I've tried both placing under the tongue and insufflation) and it has been a decent recreational experience. They both seem to go together well and create a feeling of wellbeing and alertness. Very warm as well.

In conclusion, MPA is a fantastic study aid as long as you can control yourself and your desire to fiend or re-dose. Also can be used as a general everyday stimulant in place of caffeine, as it gives a similar level of alertness with little trouble in terms of common caffeine side effects (anxiety, jitters etc.). As a recreational substance, I can see it being useful for long nights out when combined with alcohol, but don't expect the levels of euphoria comparable to Mephedrone or MDMA. Sometimes one can get carried away and embark on a long binge of 2-3 days without any real sleep. Though one gets a lot done, it usually leads to an almost 24hr sleep to recharge the body afterwards.

In short: Stay away from MPA if you know you have a tendency to fiend/compulsively re-dose; it can lead to a long binge and afterwards a long crash. If you have strong willpower, then this could be used as a very effective study aid/general stimulant.
