When they finally did kick in approx. 1 and a half to two later there was marked paranoia (more so than any other dosage of hallucinogen I had taken: LSD, psilocybin, PCP, MDA, MDMA, 2ct2 etc). I was outside and had my boyfriend look behind me and he had me look behind him just in case someone were to sneak up on us. Oh yeah we were in the middle of the woods away from all civilization.
The grass began to grow and turn into large marijuana plants. We shared this and many of the early hallucinations together which was not normal for us. About that time, two stray dogs which we thought were wolves came and just stared at us for a while like they knew something. I walked to the car. My boyfriend’s brother and girlfriend walked outside and I almost puked on his shoe. The vomit just came out of me without nausea or any type of warning. It was frothy with some hotdogs. All I could think was, “man, I need to chew my food better.” We became restless and my boyfriend’s brother took us for a ride to the store for supplies. We smoked some MJ on the way, the car we were riding in became made of water and I realized once we got to the store I had taken too much. Much to my surprise this would be the last rational thought I would have for quite a while.
As I sat in the parking lot too afraid of myself to get out, I looked up, saw a huge halo of light explode into my eyes like a nuclear blast and I began to seize. The seizure eventually stopped but the paranoia and loss of touch with reality began to invade.
The seizure eventually stopped but the paranoia and loss of touch with reality began to invade.
And then the seizures started again. Grand Mal and they weren’t stopping this time. This is when I lost consciousness. My boyfriend said he called the ambulance. Well the cops showed up first. My boyfriend was also on the same amount of 5-MEO-AMT as I, and he grabbed a bottle of water and the cops drew guns on him. I woke up in the hospital with an oh so unpleasant feeling as those who have overdosed only know. It was funny because they took urine and blood samples from me. NOTHING showed up, not even THC (I was a heavy smoker). Perhaps it was diluted from the infusion I had received of normal Saline.
We left the hospital, of course I felt horrible and embarrassed, went to the store to buy some fuzzy slippers to make me feel better, watched the cashier's face melt into the counter and people’s legs bend backward like insects, and went to my boyfriend’s sister’s birthday party. It was spring and I guess the annual frog fuck landed on that day because there were a million and a half dead frogs lining the pavement. I felt like those frogs.
I believe the experience led to a slight psychotic break because for the next 2 weeks, only when I drove, I had a passenger in the back seat with a lumberjack red and black flannel shirt and black baseball hat on that wasn’t really there. I believe that person happened to be at the house where the majority of the seizures took place and had somehow imprinted on my mind.
Anyhow about a month later, not wanting to let it get me down, I tried 5-MEO-AMT again, a 10mg dose. We threw eggs at each other, watched millions of caterpillars swarm the earth, told a cop to fuck off, played video games and contemplated group murder. It was very nice. I want to relate it to something but it is truly one of a kind. Don’t take 30 mg and make sure you wait at least 2 hr to redose (moral of story).
