Ever since I took my first MDMA pill, and got thrust into the world of psychoactives, the needle was something that intrigued me. Although I gravitated towards psychedelic use, trying all sorts of hallucinogens, ranging from the obscure 2c series compounds, to DOC, and 'classical' psychedelics, like mushrooms, LSD, and oral DMT. At the same time, I became well versed in all other realms of drugs. Alcohol, pharmaceuticals, and street drugs like cocaine were all fun additions to my weekly psychedelic adventures. Even things like DXM and DPH worked their way into my diet, and I have had 100's of experiences with DXM.

When I discovered the world of Research Chemicals, I fell in love with MXE. It was a simple, intense high that was cheap, readily available at prices unheard of for street drugs, and incredibly pleasant to do. Since I discovered it, I have done many grams of this substance, oscillating between daily low dosing to high dose purges on the weekends. I experimented with research stimulants, such as 4-MEC and bk-MBDB, but they never brought the level of satisfaction that MXE did. Indeed, MXE became one of my favorite drugs.

The discovery of the magic of oxycodone came not in the form of percocets. I had a previous experience with oral oxycodone at 22.5mg's, and it pretty much sucked, characterized by intense nausea and dysphoria. I was disheartened, but when I learned to the 'roxy 30,' I was determined to try again. 30 milligrams of instant release Oxycodone, and almost no filler at all, it was like it was invented for abuse. Roxy's became a close staple to my diet, much like MDMA did, a monthly hedonistic bomb for myself when I grew weary and bored of my typical substance use/weed smoking. The allure of IV injection, and the possible intensity increase of one of my already favorite substances was so much, that I could not resist fantasizing about the eventual date of injection.

Soon, a simple fantasy became a reality. A friend, T, knew of my longterm fascination with the needle. One day, he proclaimed he had needles (hard to get where I live due to harsh anti-drug laws). I asked him kindly for one, and he gladly obliged. Here I was, with an insulin needle, and a hungry curiosity that couldn't be satisfied by any other means. I quickly drew up plans to acquire another Roxy 30, which were in high demand in my area due to a recent shortage. After several days of intense hunting, I found myself the owner of 2 Roxy 30's as well.

So, I saved it up for Thursday night, knowing I had no class the next day. I waited and watched the clock for the night hours to roll around, and as the clock finally hit 11:00, I knew it was time for the ride of my life. 22.5mg of oxycodone was crushed up and placed into a large-ish spoon. I drew up 50 units from my water bottle, covering the powder, with cold water, I stirred up the blue solution a little bit, and then let the filler settle. Then, I threw in a small piece of cotton that I rolled up into a ball. Instantly, the water was absorbed into the cotton. I stuck my needle into it, drawing up about 35 units of water. I flicked the barrel a couple of times, getting all the air bubbles to the top, and pushed them out, leaving about 30 units of a clearish solution. I Used my belt to tie off my arm, slowly put the needle into a large vein in the crook of my arm (which was almost complete painless, to my surprise). Then, I drew up the syringe, and red filled my barrel. I slowly depressed the plunger, removed my makeshift tourniquet, and then took the syringe out. I cleaned up the injection site again, and then put a bandaid on the spot (spongebob bandaid!).

I immediately started counting down. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9... but didn't feel anything yet. My friend T was also joining me in the IV, so I assisted him in the process of hitting a vein and plunging his needle. As I was helping him depress his own shot, my eyes went crossed, and a warming sensation immediately grew in the back of my head. I felt a strange feeling in the back of my throat, and a rising intoxication and intense mental stoning.
I felt a strange feeling in the back of my throat, and a rising intoxication and intense mental stoning.
I slumped into my computer chair, pulled a fuzzy blanket over me, and closed my eyes. I was met with the greatest euphoria, body buzzing, and mental apathy I have ever felt. It was as if all my problems were no longer problems, simply little annoyances that couldn't get to me, like bugs on a screen. Any of the issues I had during the week vanished like that, and any longterm depressions I was feeling melted away into nothingness. I sat, drinking chocolate milk without opening my eyes, slumped away listening to the calmest music I could find. This was heaven.

After 30 minutes, the high had not noticeably changed in the slightest. This was exciting for me, because I still had another 22.5mg of oxycodone saved. I immediately crushed up another 7.5mg, and made the executive decision to mix 15mg of MXE into the line with the oxycodone. Boy, am I glad I did. I insufflated the line at around 11:35 (the injection being at 11) and within 5 minutes, the effects of the new line compiled onto the effects I was feeling from the original shot. I lay back into my chair, my nodding now accompanied by faint but apparent closed eyed visuals from the MXE. Dancing Egyptian patterns formed in the static of my closed eyes, but never progressed into more meaningful visualizations. Simply black and white eye candy for the road.

At around 11:55, me and T decided to go have a 'STOOOGE BREEEEAK' (a joke we've made about smoking cigs.) My heavily mentholated Camel Crush Bold was the closest damn thing to heaven. I sat on my porch, practically melted to my chair, rocking back and forth, letting the cool spring wind tickle my skin in the night, locked in a state of total euphoria. Smoking proved fairly difficult, as I would nod for so long between smokes, that every time I came back too, a quarter of my cigarette would have burned away.

The MXE and oxycodone provided such perfect synergy with each other, it was a magical combination that I don't think I've ever felt such power within. They complemented each other's strengths, minimized the others weaknesses, and set me into a state of pure Nirvana. I recall being asked if I felt like Jesus by T; my response, very suitable, was 'I don't give enough fucks to be Jesus.' At 12:25, I returned to my computer, with some chips and salsa to munch on for the spare moments that I came out of my deep nodding sessions. I racked up another line, this time with 7.5mg of oxycodone and 20mg of MXE, and insufflated it. No burn, no drip, and within 5 minutes, the effects of the first two dosages (which hadn't even tapered or diminished in the slightest) were once again magnified. I prepared my last line, which was 7.5mg oxycodone/10mg MXE, for later and slumped back into my blanket. I recall nodding with chips still in my mouth, and sitting with them hanging out like a savant. A truly magical time.

At 1, I decided to finish off my last line, and continued laying in my chair, content with the music of washed out to lull me deeper into my nods. Fantastic images of swirling patterns of Native American prints danced before me, only to suddenly change into South American symbols, and then to Chinese characters. The visuals seemed to play on ancient civilizations and the icons that represented them, but I wasn't thinking much about this at the time. At around 2 am, I began to come down, exiting the nodding state.

When 2:30 rolled around, I had returned from the nodding zone, left in a euphoric state characterized by extreme relaxation, body sensitivity, and profound feelings of love for everything around me. At 3, a disappointing wave of nausea came, giving me the signal that it was time for bed.

Upon awaking at 10 AM, I noticed some pain in the crook of my arm, which developed and then diminished over time during the next day. No hangover symptoms except a little bit of residual nausea.

All in all, this was the most euphoric experience of my life. IV injection blew any other ROA for oxycodone out of the water, and as a result, my experience was overwhelmingly amazing.

A simpler time scale would appear like this:

0:00 - 22.5mg Oxycodone IV
0:30 - 7.5mg Oxycodone, 15mg MXE insufflated
0:55 - 1 Cigarrette Smoked
1:30 - 7.5mg Oxycodone, 20mg MXE insufflated
2:00 - 7.5mg Oxycodone, 10mg MXE insufflated

The only problem I face now is holding back from doing more.
