DOSE: |
4 Tbsp | oral | Chamomile | (tea) |
BODY WEIGHT: | 155 lb |
I mixed the chamomile with 16 oz boiling water for about five minutes, strained and drank over ice. The tea was incredibly soothing, and I was feeling the depressant effects after about two gulps. This sedated feeling (As well as some very mild euphoria and chattiness) continued for about 20-30 minutes after taking the last sip.
Definitely not a strong herb, but it does its job. I have been feeling quite anxious since going off the Klonopin, and the tea was quite soothing. I will be making it again, but next time I might add some lemon balm to the chamomile or some honey to the tea itself for taste, since it has a taste between apple and general herb-y taste. General rule of thumb is to mix 2tbsp Chamomile/8oz of Water.
