I had not eaten very much all day, and not for several hours before taking 2CE because in the past I have had vast amounts of nausea accompanying the come-up and wanted to avoid severe nausea and vomiting. This technique worked and for the first time ever, I did not experience intense nausea and did not vomit at all.

I am not currently on any over the counter drugs or prescription medication except for my birth control, the Depo-Provera shot, which had been administered earlier in the week. I find that tripping does not interfere with my particular brand of birth control

For me, the trip really began about 45 minutes in, when I began shaking and seeing visual distortions in the form of sound waves moving across the television and walls. The shaking, while intense and mostly unpleasant, was controlled after about 15 minutes – the shakes felt similar to what I experience when I take any sort of weight-loss pill or adderall. I experienced my shakes alone, on the porch because I did not want my trip to affect the others I was tripping with – neither of whom experienced these symptoms.
Throughout the night, I felt like I could see a broader array of colors than are normally available to humans, as a result of our limited cone (color) receptors. This included a brighter pink and more vibrant, poisonous-looking green. In addition to seeing open-eye color distortions and hallucinations, I saw “tracers” whenever I closed my eyes – they were tracing outlines of anything and everything. We smoked one blunt and a bowl of pot while tripping, but the weed started making me trip harder, less controlled so I abstained from most hits on the bowl.
Once the more visually-impairing aspects subsided, I was able to continue watching and enjoying the media we had previously selected. The most overwhelming aspect of my trip was what I earlier referred to as empathy-inducing. I felt entirely consumed in the world of those around me and in the movies/shows – I felt like we were one and I was only a part of a whole. I did not experience complete ego-death but remained aware of who I was and who those around me were the entire night. However, I did completely experience the emotions that were projected from the media we watched.
After everyone retired to their room, I remained awake staring at the wall and experiencing all the visual residuals. I never was able to get to sleep and around noon my head started to hurt. I ate some food and felt a little better, but around 3 pm I ended up taking 3, 200 mg Ibuprofen pills in order to combat my throbbing head and I smoked some pot.
All in all, my trip was pleasant, though I was initially worried about taking anything in an unfamiliar location. I compensated by taking fewer mg than I usually take and having a sitter present to help my trip be more enjoyable.
