As an avid fan of most of the schedule II opiates and opioids, I am no stranger to the cycle of use, which is quite similar among all the substances in these classes. First time use is a little confusing as you try to pinpoint and analyze the effects, not really knowing what everyone else is talking about. Once you've discovered exactly what the buzz is all about, you either love it or hate it. I love it.

Then, your focus on obtaining more opiates/opioids grows stronger as your desire to get that high increases. If your lucky, you have a few suppliers that are only a phone call away and always have a decent inventory on hand.

So, for awhile, life is great. I would wake up in the morning and rail 20mg opana ER before doing anything else. After 10 minutes, I was able to brew some coffee and start the day. I would rail another 20mg at mid-afternoon, and another 20mg in the early evening. That last 20mg would sometimes put me into a nod, and I'd just let it flow through me. I'm back from work by now anyway, sitting on my sofa and feeling no pain.

I repeated this daily routine for nearly six months. I never felt the need to take any more than 60mg a day as my tolerance did not seem to increase. I got the same results every day, from the same dosages, for 180 days or so.

Then, one day, my suppliers told me that opana was being reformulated so that it could no longer be crushed and railed. With this new formula, even if I took a hammer to it, it would do nothing but flatten out like a penny. So, I bought up the rest of the original formula and was already dreading the day when they'd be gone.

Well, that day came, and when I woke up that first morning and couldn't rail my usual 20mg, I was in a state of panic. I called my suppliers several times that morning asking if they were absolutely sure there was no more opana to be had. They grew tired of my inquiries in short term.

Around 4pm, the first of the withdrawal symptoms presented themselves. Sweating, shaking, cramping, headache, flu-like body aches, chills etc. At 2am, vomiting & diarrhea joined the party. As these withdrawal symptoms intensified, I became more and more panicky, pacing around the house for hours on end. I felt lost and scared and wanted that opana more than anything else in the world.

And so it went, for the next 4-5 days. The withdrawal symptoms took their sweet time and even when I started feeling better, I still felt like an empty shell of a person. My mind was void of emotion and I had the enthusiasm to do nothing at all. It was a major chore just to get up and use the bathroom. Even today, several weeks later, I still don't feel 'normal'.

For a substance like opana, it was fantastic while it was available. The only way to avoid the physical & emotional withdrawal from this opioid is to have a life-long supply. However, having a life-long supply (of anything) is just about impossible.

So, enjoy it while you can, because at the end of the road, it is hell on earth. And, for me, it also seemed to ruin the effects I'd get from the other opioids like vic 10's, perc 10's etc. Opana is top of the line as long as that line is never-ending.
