So I am a regular DXM user. I find that once a month may be too much now though as I began using it I would do it weekly, so subjectivity is apparent. Back than I was really bored with life and ANY change was welcome so that is my best explanation. Now, it simply seems to me that DXM is a more time consuming drug, because there is a definite hang-over when going 3rd plateau and above.

As for my MXE experience now. MXE to me is a quick DXM. It lasts 3 hours as opposed to DXM's 8, and has zero hangover whatsoever. I can do math after 3 hours of MXE as opposed to DXM where I can only start conscious thought at least 8 hours afterwards, usually after going to sleep.

Truth be told MXE is the quick disassociative, whereas DXM requires 2 days for me to be at baseline.
