I was looking for a way to relax…formerly this was not an issue as I would just pop a bunch of Oxycontin…but “legal” was my key word today. I came across Kava Kava on the internet, it sounded good so I went to a local Natural Foods store and bought some. I am sure now, that the extracts found online would be a great time (but I am impatient). I bought “Kava Kava Root: 60 capsules: 225 mg each, liquid”. The following was all done on an empty stomach: I drank a juice with the first trial.

3:50 PM I swallowed 6 pills (1350mg) … after about 15 minutes I felt calm, a little light headed...general 'okayness'…and then nothing.

8:00 PM I took 10 pills (2250mg)… a little while later (10-15 minutes) I was outside smoking a cigarette and I noticed that my lips and mouth felt numb…not a bad numb…like a “I just snorted a small line of low-grade cocaine” numb. It was good, I felt like something was happening. I felt slightly warm and tingly, I was more talkative and I noticed that I wasn't really concerned with what ppl thought about what I was saying – carefree if you will; it wore off after like an hour… I remember having a grin on my face, “this is GREAT!”… at 9:30; I got nothin’… ssooo… … …

10:10 PM I took 15 pills (3375mg: yeah it’s a lot but that’s just how I do things : ) )… 10 minutes in I feel great! I haven’t taken anything for recreational purposes in a while so I’m sure I would have zero tolerance to ANYTHING I would ingest. I have to actually STOP myself when talking to a friend lest he become suspicious! …and my mouth. And my lips are N.U.M.B.! Deep breaths feel filling and delicious. If I close my eyes and let myself relax I can feel that “nod” coming on – some of you will understand what I mean by that. Like I said, I have NO tolerance anymore…it’s not like eating 100 mg of Percocet… 3375 mg Kava is like (for me) taking 10mg or maybe 20mg of vicodin.

11:22 PM An album I haven’t heard in a minute comes on and it feels like: like just pure joy! I had forgotten how much I LOVE THEM! My head is swimming, I’m wondering why I’m wasting my time writing this instead of chilling…

11:54 PM Still going strong. I’m a bit more dizzy but as long as I stay sitting down I’m good. My peripherals are a bit off too. Blurred and I have to look at my hand to make sure it gets to its desired target…”And its too late to lose the weight you used to need to throw around…” I love those lyrics.

12:05 AM It took me 10 minutes to type the last paragraph…I am done with this…In all, I will be purchasing Kava extract asap.

12:10 AM OOP! Feeling a bit nauseous… it passes quickly enough. I would never recommend disregarding FDA suggestion on intake of anything for other ppl… this is just my experience and how I felt.
