- If Being PursuedIn the United States, according to The Outlaw's Bible, the police may follow a person into their vehicle or home when in the process of a pursuit. Once the person is apprehended, the police may search the area immediately surrounding the person. This means that if a person being pursued by the police goes home, the police may search at least part of that home when the person is apprehended. The police would not have the right (without a warrant) to search the individual's home if they were not apprehended there.
- "I'm Tired and In A Hurry"It's legitimate to be sick, tired, and/or in a hurry if stopped by the police. Needing to get home, having an appointment, or simply "being in a hurry" are all fine reason to give for why you don't want to consent to a search.
