On November 5, Fire and Earth received the Drug Policy Alliance
2011 "Dr. Andrew Weil Award for Achievement in the Field of Drug
Education". Erowid is a group effort and this award is a tribute
to the entire crew. We are grateful to the DPA for recognizing the
work we have done over the past 16 years, and to all the members
and visitors who support the site.
Please remember Erowid in your end-of-the-year giving plans. We need
your financial support to continue to make this resource available.

doomed failure, the point-by-point parallels with modern recreational
drug prohibition are painfully obvious. Worth watching, with lots of
great photos and quotes.
After Prohibition ended, "There was a great feeling that it was
better to trust people not to drink so much on their own than have a
law saying they couldn't have liquor." (Margot Loines Wilkie)
