Ayahuasca: alkaloids, plants & analogs
Section 4 :
Ayahuasca Analogs: Theory & Practice
The premise is quite simple:
1) Find a material containing sufficient DMT and/or 5-MeO-DMT and/or other substances to enable an entheogenic experience.
2) Combine it with another material capable of providing sufficient Monoamine oxidase inhibition to allow said DMT to become active orally or else potentiate the other entheogenic material.
3) Drink them.
In theory this is simple; the practice takes some conscious effort.
