Pills-a-go-go
1991-1996
by Jim Hogshire
Using the pseudonym Chet Antonini, author Jim Hogshire published the zine Pills-a-go-go from 1991 through 1996. It dealt with pharmaceuticals, vitamins, amino acids, and other pill-related topics, often focusing on their recreational uses, and featuring first-person accounts, tips, news, and more. From two to sixteen pages in length, there were twenty-three issues produced in total. Some material that originally appeared in Pills-a-go-go was later reworked into longer articles or used as content for Hogshire's 1999 book-length treatment of the topic Pills-a-go-go: A Fiendish Investigation into Pill Marketing, Art, History & Consumption.

Scans of all but two of the original issues are made available here (as PDFs) with the permission of Jim Hogshire:
