DESCRIPTION
Tiagabine is an anticonvulsant prescribed as an add-on drug to help control epileptic seizures. It is believed to work by enhancing the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA. It is also prescribed off-label in the treatment of bi-polar disorder [BPD], chronic anxiety disorder, and insomnia.
