  • Mimosa tenuiflora in ethnomedicine
    The cortex of Mimosa tenuiflora is popular in Mexico as a treatment for skin lesions. Recent studies have provided evidence that it is effective. (see ref)

  • Mimosa tenuiflora and birth abnormalities
    Two studies have found evidence that animals eating Mimosa tenuiflora experience a significantly higher number of birth defects and developmental abnormalities for unknown reasons. (see Ref 1, Ref 2)
