Czech Republic Drug Laws & Policy

In the Czech Republic, personal use amounts of most recreational drugs were decriminalized to a misdemeanor as of Jan 1 2010. Under the new law, possession of less than the following amounts of illicit drugs will not be a serious criminal offense: Marijuana - 1.5 grams; Hashish - 1 gram; 2C-B - 200mg; MDMA - .34g ; Methamphetamine - .6g. Possession of "larger than a small amount" of marijuana can result in a jail sentence of up to one year. For other illicit drugs, the sentence is two years.

In April 2011, the Czech Republic banned 30 substances including the cathinones banned around the world in 2009-2011. Newly banned substances include: Butylone, Mephedrone, Methylone, Naphyrone, Salvinorin A, and others.

It appears that DPT, AMT, and 5-MeO-DMT are not controlled in the Czech Republic.
