Abstract
LSD (2 doses of 50 mcg. within 2 hours) given to a chronic alcoholic who had had not only a classical alcoholic hallucinosis but also psychoreactive hallucinoses, produced hallucinosis in which the subject saw dramatically vivid scenes from his past life. This had a marked psychocathartic effect.
