Abstract
Detailed study of the psychic effects of LSD (100 mcg i.v.) in 20 normal subjects taking into consideration the literature. Some of the symptoms elicited by LSD are specific to the drug, others are due to the structure of the individual personality. The schizophrenia-like symptoms, which are not infrequently observed, generally occur late: they are probably not specific to LSD but are an expression of the individual reaction of the person concerned.
