Abstract
The author studied the degree of individual differences that can be predicted after administration of LSD. To obtain a reliable criterion objective tests were applied. . The static ataxia (Romberg) and worries test (Eysenck) discriminate between normals and neurotics. The picture recognition test, and figure reconstruction test (Brengelmann) and the tapping test (Eysenck), discriminate between normals and psychotics. . Eighteen male volunteers were given 150 mcg. LSD and 3 female volunteers 100 mcg. LSD (aged 25-50 years). . LSD has less influence on the performance of tests discriminating between normals and neurotics than on the performance of tests discriminating between normals and psychotics. . In 10 objective tests it proved possible to forecast the nature but not the degree of symptoms that would be elicited by LSD. . (See 782)
