Abstract
The authors, using a battery of tests, compared the psychotomimetic effects of LSD 100 mcg. orally and of JB-318 15 mg. orally in 10 healthy volunteers. In a first communication (See 766), they described in detail the results of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory and the Jarvik Questionnaire, while in the present paper, those of the Rorschach test and the Clyde Mood Scale are discussed. . In the Rorschach test "neither drug induced a significant change in any of the scores". Evaluated according to the Clyde Mood Scale, JB-318 significantly decreased the Earnest, Contented, Energetic, and Friendly scale scores and significantly increased the Fearful and Desperate scales. LSD significantly decreased the Earnest and, significantly increased the Desperate scales.
