“Is lysergide a teratogen?”.

Abstract
Lysergide (lysergic-acid diethylamide, LSD) causes chromosomal abberations in cultured human leucocytes, and maybe teratogenic in rats, mice, and hamsters. A mother who took lysergide during the first trimester of pregnancy had a congenitally malformed baby. We have not been able to detect any significant teratogenic effects in the offspring of does treated with lysergide.
