DESCRIPTION
Carbogen is a gaseous mixture of carbon dioxide and oxygen which, when inhaled, causes an alteration in consciousness. Carbogen is used in psychiatric research as a "panicogen" (triggering panic reactions) and its effects are widely considered unpleasant although some people enjoy them.
