Thanks to everyone who contributed towards a new computer for Erowid
last month. While we didn't raise enough to completely cover the
costs, we came close. The new computer is in hand and things are
again running smoothly! Huzzah!

In 2010, we began hearing about urinary tract (UT) issues associated

past 15 years without hearing about UT problems, we used a series of
surveys in October 2010 to ask visitors about their use of ketamine

Erowid is testing out accepting donations through Bitcoin, a new
ultra-geeky digital currency. It's one of the most interesting new

The Czech Republic decriminalized personal possession amounts of many
recreational drugs on Jan 1, 2010. Then, in April 2011, the Czech
legislature banned 30 substances, including 4-methylmethcathinone,
and several other stimulants that have recently become available.

Recent research that received wide media coverage reported finding
damage in the hippocampus area of ecstasy-users' brains. The paper
has some methodological issues that were not mentioned in mainstream

EcstasyData is a project of Erowid Center that conducts laboratory
testing of street Ecstasy tablets and publishes these and other test
results online.
