Abstract
65 students were given a battery of verbal and nonverbal paper and pencil tests under normal conditions and 2 hr. after they had orally received approximately .01 mg. LSD. Under the LSD condition: (1) the level of performance decreased, (2) the shape of the battery profile indicated lower performance on the abstract reasoning tests, (3) the correlations lowered, and (4) the factorial composition of the battery seemed to be less differentiated than under normal conditions. The findings are interpreted in terms of MA regression introduced by pharmacological stress. - Author abstract.
